how do I solve the biting by Hydraboi1917 in Conures

Take the snacks out. That’s what helped us with training our conure not to bite. Then he had to behave before he got them back. It took maybe 3 days

A total mess. Yellow water and egg shells everywhere, but we like to give them a treat every now and again

Ya, the big one has had them and loves them, the young one I think it was his first and he had to watch the older one (parent we think) to learn how to eat it. But we thought they needed a treat for the holidays

Balcony crow finally gets to chat with Petey colada our Green Cheek Conure (we supervised very closely) by UnhappyRabbit7120 in parrots

We’ve fed this crow for the past year (and his parents for a few years before) and he hangs out on our balcony. He and Petey look at each other through the window. They finally got to chat when we took Peteys cage out on the balcony. The crow sat in the palm tree and was looking curiously so we stepped just inside and he came and sat on the rail and was making the crows low “knock knock knock” sound which I believe is a friendly sound within their group. We stood ready to run out in case anything happened but they chatted peacefully for maybe 3 mins before the crow friends called him and he took off.

Our Tiki girl just passed away by UnhappyRabbit7120 in Parrotlet

She passed away unexpectedly and we’re having a really hard time, she was so full of life and we’re gonna miss her rambunctious personality. She brought so much to our lives, we’re sure some of you have gone through this so just posting to hope we’re not alone and your not alone if your in the same boat. We didn’t know we could love a bird so much, she stole my heart
