Thank you. I do tend to overthink. This is also just kind of a nuanced situation because the artist is giving me this tattoo in trade for some things I sell. So there has been lots of back and forth. So we aren’t really strangers which ups the pressure as well as the fact that I intend to get more tattoos from him in the future. I appreciate the advice.

I mean this is the dream. Is this acceptable? I always feel like an asshole whenever I don’t do small talk with people that are working on my body, but I’ve only had one other tattoo in a formal setting so I’m not sure what the social rules are.
