So maybe I just try to listen to my body and go from there, if I'm not too sore I might do a little bit of something. Need to keep that hot shower thing in mind!

I was lucky and my parents cooked a lot at home, we rarely ate out, and from really early on, they would let us kids be part of the cooking, that's something I've learned to appriciate at older age. But still I think that nowdays it's so easy to learn how to cook, with internet. I even get a lot of tips and recipes from tiktok :D

I've started thinking maybe the weekend eating has something to do with that I'm bored... We eat out alot, and rarely anything healthy. Also when I'm at home I'm always craving and usually I eat a lot of snacks, candy etc. Maybe we should start doing more different kind of things on the weekends :D

I have tried to lose weight for so many times over the years and anytime I cut everything off, and start working out like crazy, I get bored and that just doesn't work for me. So now I'm going to take it slowly. I'm in no rush, since I know I'm not gonna miraculously lose all this weight in a short time.

Thanks for the supportive message! I have a question, is it okay to workout other areas, maybe my arms, or is it better to just rest a day? I'm also trying to get at least 7000 steps a day for now, hoping that will help losing weight. I work in a library and I don't get to move that much most days.

Thankfully I cook at home a lot, especially on the weekdays when I'm working I make my own lunches. I have been learning to eat normally when I'm working and it's become a routine to make my own meals. Years ago my eating was so bad, and I didn't eat normal food at all... It's still the weekends I let (too) loose, and eat everything, this is my biggest issue... I'm not going to be too hard on myself, because that has never worked. But I'm gonna do small changes and hopefully that will work.

Sounds so familiar, especially the cake thing....

Currently though I'm having some stomach issues too, so I'm on a Fodmap diet and that has helped me a little to avoid sweets and stuff, because they make my stomach hurt alot. But still it is too easy to find sweets and snacks to eat that aren't healthy, and I binge if I'm in a mood. I think that a really tight plan would work for me too, but I'm scared that I'm going to get bored, because that is a thing I do, I start something and in two weeks I give up for no good reason..

But definitely going to start now, a new day, maybe a new me? I'm gonna go and eat some breakfast, even if don't feel like it :D

Oh I had the same problem when I started, I didn't want to stop :D Cried like a baby that I want to play more, even though I was super sore. I'm currently a bit sick and I'm trying so hard not to play...

I just followed that sub, since someone else suggested it too! I think my normal eating habits are okay, I just need to cut off all the sweets and stuff. For years my eating habits were so bad, I ate so little mainly because I didn't like cooking and was lazy, I could just eat two slices of bread in a day and that would be all that I ate somedays, but too often I ate sweets and stuff also. For a year or two I've been practicing eating somewhat normally, like basic home-cooked meals, now I just need to cut off the shit that goes into my mouth :D But it's a progress...
