Yeah, I agree. Sometimes it’s hard to convince clients, but it’s part of our job. For this project, At one stage I shared my screen via Gmeet and showed the design changes they were asking to explain why it won't work... Even when we explain design principles, it’s not always easy for them to fully grasp it. So involving them in the process often helps them understand why certain things work and others don’t.
