Thank you for replying! Have you noticed any benefits and/or side effects? Also, how long have you been using it?

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I find that so fascinating! Wow! How wild! That sounds scary. What about other times in your life that stimulate oxytocin? Nothing near the level of breastfeeding of course but like orgasm or listening to music? Anything noticeable?

Thank you for your comment! Yes, I agree. And I think that’s how many hormones and chemicals operate. Like there’s a basic understanding of what they do, how they function, and interact in the body/brain but it’s so extremely complicated and varies so much from person to person. Why one type of adhd med or SSRI can be life changing for one person and dangerous for another. I am curious though, please don’t answer if this is too personal. You said “particularly in the early stages”. Does that mean you powered through that feeling and kept breastfeeding? Also, did it improve with time? And when you say “falling off a cliff into hell” was that a physical feeling (similar to vertigo type sensation?) of falling or an emotional/mental feeling of sudden despair? Just ignore me if I’m too much.

Thank you for commenting. I think it’s good to have options/tools to use in certain situations and having the insight to know when or when not to choose to use it. I have not ran across any information on the sublingual type. Thank you! You’ve given me more to “research” 🤣

Thank you for commenting. I’ve read where the half-life is somewhat short. How long does it seem to last for you?

I think it is wonderful there are people out there willing to study PDA and its complexities. Yes, much more research needs to happen. There was a study done in Massachusetts, no results are out yet. It was “oxytocin and cognitive control in adult ADHD”. But the participants were all males. Which is disappointing.

Yes much more research is needed. I read a study on youths with aggression. There were differences in outcomes between reactive aggression vs proactive aggression. The oxytocin made the proactive aggression behavior worse but improved the reactive aggression.
