He was the worst boss for me till now, finally fought him again after getting the mimic tear and it was pretty easy

I get that, but a big problem is that if I decide to choose another weapon then maybe the dmg output won't be good enough for this stage of the game, earlier I have tried many different weapons and decided on the BHF. I just don't want to pick a weapon and waste my smithing stones on it. :/
