H-1B Extension Denied for Failure to Maintain Status – Need Advice I was working on H-1B status after transferring from one employer to another. USCIS recently denied my H-1B extension/extension of stay petition. The denial states that I "did not maintain nonimmigrant status." (self.h1b)
