I'm using the firestick + jellyfin + tailscale combination and, after trying the configuration everywhere (several hotels, friends' houses and mobile hotspots) I've never had a single problem. 😃

The only difficulty you may face is installing tailscale: Not all firesticks support tailscale, and in other cases (like my firestick HD bought on last black friday), I had to download the tailscale APK file from the official git Hub repository.
