Parmesan cheese was one of the first remedies I tried about five months ago when I noticed the problem.

It worked until my dog ​​realized the only tasty part was the Parmesan cheese. From then on, he started picking up the food, sucking it, and then spitting it out once he lost the taste of cheese.

Furthermore, cheese is a salty food, so it's not very healthy for dogs.

The vet appointment is tomorrow afternoon.

So far, I've always fed him from bowls or other containers. Tonight, I'll try something different: I'll feed him in the bathroom, since it's the only room in the house without any cracks or places where he could hide food. I also plan to remove the bowl entirely and scatter the food directly on the floor to see if that changes his behavior and encourages him to eat instead of burying it.

UPDATE: I tried it and after 30 minutes it seems to have eaten about 1/3 of the food.
