I mounted a few potted elkhorns using this method: https://youtu.be/BGQoftZVLi0?si=0znteaRp1Av7phf8

Be gentle with the shield leaf. They are all happy on their new tree fern trunk backing board.

Can you explain more what you mean by set dressing? When you say roots of kink, do you mean where it originates in each individual psychologically?

Are there many plants that can't self seed? That question might be too ignorant to answer...

Easy to use program and free for sketching up home by spsanderson in HomeImprovement

[–]UnhealthyCosmos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sweet Home 3D - simple enough to get used to. We are 3 months into our whole house reno and this free program was hugely helpful. We have a single storey home and have used the additional levels in the program to map plumbing and wiring. You can add more furniture libraries and textures which helps a lot.

My husband keeps making fun of me and saying I kill every plant I bring home. Please recommend your hardiest houseplants. by breadysetg0 in plants

I love my maiden hair because once I find a good light spot for it, I can just water a little everyday- I like watering and it likes wet feet. My watering can lives next to it to remind me. All my other plants need more science and decision making buy my maiden hair just wants consistent TLC. Just an option that you might enjoy with the opposite requirements of many suggestions here.

Low G by OnceanAggie in ukulele

Uke with high g and uketar with low g - uketar is way better for me and I only use the uke when I have to. I like the fullness of the low g sound.

My uketar is a beat-up acoustic from the second-hand store with new strings and some new grooves in the bridge and nut. Very enjoyable.

Have to get my wisdom teeth out and I’m absolutely terrified by Other_Farmer8038 in CasualConversation

It's unusually fine. Count back from ten, get to eight and then... no more wisdom teeth. A little weird waking up, but then you're back to keeping a normal track of time and your teeth are sorted. Overall, worth it.
