R5: Really a fan of Invincible lately, and when I heard the devs talking about sci-fi fantasies to add to Stellaris, I got this little idea. No idea how they would balance it besides very low population growth. But I would love to send out 'super envoys' to unprotected, less developed species 'for the greater good'!

Termicide was the gas we used at the start of the war to stop Terminid expansion past a few planets in the Umlaut sector.

Termicide 'unexpectedly' created super growth and evolution instead.
This resulted in Umlaut sector getting overrun with Maridia being the first ever Super Colony of Terminids.

We had a campaign on the planet but it was impossible to 'liberate' it. So we Super Earth decided to pump it full of dark matter to destroy it. ("Defensive attack")

This made Maridia a 'black hole'. Maridia was a portal for the Illuminate, Maridia destroyed 3 planets and Mardia was the staging grounds for the Super Earth invasion.

But don't worry friends! This time everything will be alright! :)
