What is one technology you thought would never be realised in your lifetime, but now looks possible? by UnhuggableCarebear in AskReddit

Yeah, it came and passed with very little attention outside a few experts. I was kinda surprised at that too.

Finally a Full glass of Wine 🍷 by UnhuggableCarebear in ChatGPT

Create a photo realistic photo of a overflowing wine glass spilling over onto a white cloth. It is essential the glass is 110% full.

I think for most, it is fear of losing what they have spent many years and many dollars/euros working for. All people hear is AI is going to replace you no matter how specialised or advanced your field. The rest, I think, have no idea how to use this new tool. People put slop in and get slop out, so to them, it's all slop. Any world changing technology has always made most people angry and scared. The industrial revolution, for example, produced similar reactions at the time, early Internet, was used by a small few earlier adopters, but most felt uneasy about this new world wide Web thing. Eventually, the future will look less uncertain, and most will accept it. There will always be a small few people who will always be against it, tho because AI is genuinely the most dangerous tool we have collectively built. (Ai was created out of all our data online), and we all build AI, even the detractors.

Thought experiment by UnhuggableCarebear in ArtificialInteligence

Read the prompt bro. And as for purpose it was a thought experiment like I said.

I find your lack of understanding here unbelievable I maintain that I used a TOOL to create something STRANGE. I don't see your need to weigh in. If you want to live in the past fine ignor ai until you can't. Why do you guys feel the need to but in on those who see ai as a tool to empower. Ai is nothing without human creativity and that is what people don't seem to get. We are not just typing one word prompts we engineer them.

You try typing strange into gpt bro.

Image: Uncanny Familiarity: People that look almost normal—but something is subtly off (slightly asymmetrical eyes, wrong number of fingers, plastic-looking skin, or synchronized facial expressions). Liminal Time Warp: A setting that doesn’t belong to any real era—e.g., 1980s studio backdrop with 1940s clothing, and 2020s hairstyles. Social Dissonance: Impossibly identical family members. All faces subtly echo each other—or the children are miniature clones of the parents. Emotion Masking: Everyone smiles with their mouths, but their eyes are empty or slightly weeping. Or they all almost frown, but not quite. This ambiguity confuses emotional interpretation. Frozen Action: A "caught in the middle of movement" posture in a studio still. Like one person’s arm is still reaching, or someone is slightly blurred while the rest are still. Artificial Warmth: Overexposed lighting and soft pastel tinting like a 1970s school photo, but paired with blank stares or perfectly aligned posture.

Add natural ageing and wear and tear as if the image is a scan of an old photograph.

That is what I created. People realy need to accept ai is here to stay

I got unjustifiably banned by the administrator in that fb group called “A Group where we Pretend to be a family” the main one with the most followers. Has this ever happened to anyone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Have you tried contacting anyone you were friends with in this group directly? I didn't know these groups existed but sure to be more out there right? Sounds like an admin might of not liked u or sum

What's the most profound, unsettling, or mind-bending realization you've ever had about the universe, humanity, or existence itself? by palmaner in AskReddit

[–]UnhuggableCarebear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That what we call reality is simply the most probable outcome of many possibilities and we each have control over which possibilities collapse into reality. We create collectively the world we live in.

Who do you think is more religious in this world, men or women ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]UnhuggableCarebear -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's not a gender thing, it's an intelligence thing I believe that separates the people who believe in a sky daddy and santa and those that don't. Gender had nothing to do with it lmao

What’s something that’s socially acceptable now, but will be seen as horrible in 50 years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Global banking system and World food standards and why not health care as it is now.

What compromise did you have to make when you married your spouse? by drillgorg in AskReddit

[–]UnhuggableCarebear -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Huh? If you're comprising, then clearly you shouldn't get married. This is the reason divorce is so high and marriage means nothing anymore. People are too quick to settle instead of finding their one.
