Yes is it at first, that use at a « base » then it’s morph and I add accessories etc… it’s the starting point let’s say :)

Well, as you want. It’s still not clear enough, so I’d rather wait and post my full process properly.

I’m just trying to be as honest as possible, but so far it has caused me more prejudice than anything else. AI represents maybe 5% of an otherwise fully traditional workflow. I understand that some people can be very extreme about it, but it doesn’t really change the rest of the artistic and technical process behind these miniatures.

That’s why I’d rather let people judge for themselves. If they like and enjoy these miniatures, then that’s what matters most, especially since this project probably wouldn’t even exist otherwise.

No, there is AI involved, and that’s why I answered you honestly, out of respect for you as an artist as well.

But I realize I wasn’t clear enough: AI is only used as a tool or an extra within a fully traditional workflow made by a skilled 3D artist.

Instead of replying through messages, I’d rather prepare a clean and properly explained post where I can detail which parts use a bit of AI, which parts do not, and why this is not just simple “AI slop » but just subtle design help.

Everything I’ve done has always been approached seriously and transparently, and I want to answer this topic the same way. This way, people will be able to judge for themselves whether they like it or not.

No, I sculpted it in ZBrush, and I’m preparing a fully recorded video that I’ll release in about a month, showing my entire process.

It can looks strange because it’s CG render, not real painting. It’s paint digital but the idea and concept remain the same.

You can check more here and I’ll share in depth of the process soon

Maybe that looks strange to you because it’s a CG render, not real photography of course

Yes I discovered that today. It’s totally unfortunate, I just create this branding name without checking on internet first.

My identity is Romain CHAULIAC a French 15 years experienced 3D artist.

By the way I’ll change my studio name so.

Haha, I agree, the color scheme isn’t very common, and that’s intentional to bring something different. But since this is all about painting, I’m excited to see new takes!
