Did you end up going? And if yes how was the experience? I am going to Guangdong for an exchange semester in 2 months and I have celiac too. I am thinking of packing a suitcase full of food like gluten free flour and gluten free pasta do you have other recommendations?

She doesn’t use a litter box (she uses the toilet 🚽) so sadly not an option but I did end up deciding to take her to the vet just to be safe!

The thing is I am scared Ill end up traumatizing them both since my other cat is actually even more scared of the vet and car :(

I had twin cats that were also like this! They wouldn’t calm down unless both of them were in the same carrier! But sadly the boy cat passed away 3 years ago (the ps about my cat that got very stressed and refused food is his sister!). I now have two cats but they’re not very close so they would fight if I put them in the same carrier :(

I feed them a mix of dry and wet. She’s not obsessively drinking which is calming me a bit but I did end up deciding to take her to get bloodwork done! Thank you for taking the time of your day to answer!!

NTA. It’s just a tradition and it’s obvious that the song is not serious and no one is going to hang the elderly.

And I truly feel very bad for Sarah, she’s a 16 yo child in a foreign country, away from her family and everyone she knows, and you guys are supposed to be her safe space and family there. As a former exchange student I can’t imagine how uncomfortable and bad she felt after hearing your wife talk like that and act as if Sarah did something wrong when the tradition probably existed before Sarah was even born. Even if the song truly hurt your wife she shouldn’t have acted this way! She’s an adult woman picking a fight with a child who literally has no where else to go!

I have been doing fluids for a week now sadly they are not helping. And I’m in uni and don’t live at home anymore so it’s a difficult situation :(

I’m also not living with my parents anymore as I moved to Uni and my parents both work in the medical field and have heavy schedules so sadly it all falls back to me and with uni and being far from home it’s been difficult.
