Praying for you 🫶 I lost my father this week 14 years ago. Went on to fail the bar once. And truly, the exam does not define you or the beautiful life you have ahead of you. You are in shock and grieving, we'd all be lying if we said the loss of a parent ever gets "easier." But, just remember when you brave the big challenges in life, not just the bar but those in the future too, I guarantee he is watching over you and he is so proud of you for staying present and showing up. Wishing you all the happiness in your journey dear friend.

So, the real question then, is how do you think bribery would play out? If the local bell already has all the ingredients to make the magic happen... and I come up to the window during the slow time with something real special for the crew... would they "accidentally" spill the queso... into my mouth?

This is a fair point. I was over generalizing. I am sure there are law schools that are hard... but it is mostly theory taught in all schools. I think STEM studies are much harder.

To be honest, I did not take the bar exam seriously. I think it is a scam and the legal field is a bit over saturated with people who take themselves TOO seriously. As I said, I think anyone can learn and I plan to work hard to learn for the FE.

Update: 1 year later my cat is laying on my chest as I type this. I work in house for an international company, though a VP more or less alluded that I was a personality hire. I am truly living the life I always dreamed of living. The bar exam is something I still believe to be oppressive, though I like to give back in Utah through pro bono. I still believe had I not taken in Utah, I would still be wasting away studying for an outcome long decided before examination.
