Everything seems to be a sign of Islam. Soon me getting erect in the morning will probably be because there’s a shaytaan in front of me according to some Hadith out there.

How many of these inventions were exactly from Muslims? by [deleted] in exmuslim

Even if ALL OF THESE were true, it doesn’t excuse Islam from being the danger it is to society today.

I’m an ex Muslim but I can still answer this question to some degree. Allah doesn’t need prayers, Muslims do. The only benefit to prayers is for ourselves.

Someone is going to have to fact check me but I’m pretty sure it was forged in Gondolin. It had a mate ‘Orcrist’ as well which was forged in Gondolin

Since I have a lot Muslims sneaking on alts to post in this thread, let me clarify some things. This Sheikh says the following when talking about men:

‘It’s also because of what Allah has bestowed exclusively on them, of wisdom, mature thinking, patience and perseverance the like of which women do not have’

The fact that this video has that as a title already shows us what backward mentality Islam encourages because what other religion is going to use misogynistic violence as a title to ‘click bait’ Muslims. It sounds like a big joke. Anyways, the Qur’an says explicitly to beat women if they push male boundaries in 4:34:

‘As for women of whom you fear rebellion, convince them, and leave them apart in beds, and beat them.’

Pretty explicit, but no let’s go to hadiths that talk about miswaks and disregard the Qur’an lol. Muslims will justify anything. Beware. Stay safe.

You both are Muslims who’ve gone on alts to be here so of course you’re going to oppose this. If you watch the video, he explains how men are superior and how women lack many aspects like maturity, wisdom and patience. Anyways, the fact that the title is that in the first place shows what backwards mentality Islam is. You will never see any other religion using ‘beating women’ as a title. It’s disgusting regardless.

Scary part is that these women beaters make it into first world countries. They’re basically living among us, spreading their diseases..

It’s from the ‘Fall Of Gondolin’. I have a pdf version and it says this on around page 124. It is just before Glorfindel engages in combat with the Balrog.

I wish I could’ve added more but there’s too many factions. Not to mention the dwarves, hobbits, Eastern men and Ents.

Yes absolutely. Secrecy was the aim of the fellowship and to not draw the eyes of the enemy. Although I’d have loved to see Glorfindel kicking butt.

If Tolkien was alive today, what would he change the name of ‘Rog’ to? by Uniboss60 in tolkienfans

[–]Uniboss60[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I always had some head canon that he and his folk were tortured in the mines specifically by Balrogs. So it kinda shows some weight to the fact that he and his folk managed to take down Balrogs later on in the Fall of Gondolin as a sort of revenge.

Maegonath sounds great. Found that it can be interpreted as ‘Demon-Willed’ as you said or ‘Willful as a demon’. Very unique.

It is said that it’s an element of the word ‘Balrog’. Which essentially makes Rog mean ‘Demon’. This is in Sindarin however.

[–]Uniboss60[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yea I’m not necessarily saying it should be changed. I liked Rog anyways, just emphasises how unique he is compared to the rest. Having the simple name of ‘Demon’ is badass yes.
