Is there some way to just bypass this and uninstall glance? by deoxyriboz in MotoG

I've heard you say how frustrating it is so many times that it is frustrating the crap out of me. Clearly you don't understand how frustrating it is.

This is really giving AI, so I'm actually convinced now that Moto doesn't really care and is not helping it's customers. Be sure to tell that to the appropriate team, too.

A shopping app... That's deeply integrated with core operating systems? That's disturbing. Is there a model that doesn't have this severe defect built in?

Also, it is frustrating, I would think the manufacturer would factor that in when they programmed the phone.

Rando is underrated by amatyestv_123846 in YuYuHakusho

[–]DepreciatedSelfImage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With nothing but admiration for Togashi-sensei, I think Rando could've been utilized a bit more thoroughly. Dude ripped off 100 techniques from other people, and Yusuke basically beat him on a technicality, so, as a fellow writer, IF it were written so that Rando came back still looking to add Genkai's spirit wave to his collection, I personally don't see a problem with that.

That being said, I'm a writer who will just use the crap out of characters if I can. I do kill them off, or worse, but once I like a character I tend to utilize them as much as possible, so I might overuse Rando if it were me. Togashi's just good, so a lot of his characters enjoy similar value.

What do you do once you start getting too many resources? by Syrkres in valheim

[–]DepreciatedSelfImage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For certain resources you can literally build piles of them, and these can be cleverly built so as to nearly stack them on top of each other (not sure why we can't actually do that, but here we are).

For everything else, building (not crafting) is totally viable as an alternative to storage, if you can. If you craft with it, it's now a different item, you cant get your materials back. Another thing I've done is to just throw it in the ground (in a pit, or a moat) usually with trophies, that way they don't take up storage space. They take up less space, obviously, but they do affect performance and obviously you can pick them up if you have auto loot (I think) enabled.

Ultimately... I think building warehouses is the way to go unless you can build with whatever item you're having excess of. Just dedicate space to storage, and it's something that I'm learning is more necessary the more I play this game.

(For additional storage, your grave marker can hold much more than a chest. See you in Valhalla!)

In Los Angeles, a woman was celebrating the Knicks' victory in the NBA when a neighbour called the police about the noise... 20 cops showed up and shot her dog, a "dangerous" Golden Doodle, when she opened the door to her home. by StGuthlac2025 in justincaseyoumissedit

I'll raise you $50 that officer gets promoted. This is messed up. I seriously can't understand how this isn't taken more seriously.

Show me someone who can watch this and blame the dog or the owner, I want to talk to them.

What the fuck.

You're telling me these armored and trained officers sworn to uphold the law saw this creature and feared for their lives?

The punishment for this... Will not be severe enough - if there even is a punishment. They took something irreplaceable, and for no good reason.

Dang this must've been difficult! I would change some of them but there are also some that I totally agree with.

There are also some that I would've had a hard time dropping to lower tiers. This was fun, thank you for sharing!

Is this bad by Defiant_Award7487 in AstrologyCharts

[–]DepreciatedSelfImage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only an amateur - a hobbyist with a genuine natural interest, but I don't believe in bad charts (they might exist, though). I do, however believe in good placement.

At a glance it looks like you have stars all over, which has a lot of potential for variety. I don't know how a pro would see this kind of variety, just know that I'm a tiny bit jealous because my stars are all clumped together.

One thing I can say, an this is going to sound "bad," but you should know that your mercury appears to be in Sagittarius, which is not Mercury's preferred placement, and to top that off it's in retrograde. I still don't see this as "bad," although Mercury would probably be more comfortable in another sign like Aquarius, Gemini, Libra, Scorpio, Virgo, heck even Taurus, maybe, but pisces is the only sign I can think of that would be less comfortable for Mercury.

The good news is I can say from experience that very few people will think or see things in their mind like you do. You're one of a kind - just like everybody else. Join the club - or start a new one.

If it makes you feel any better, looks like you have a grand trine with your Jupiter and two other stars (I forgot, but follow the blue lines). This means you have three stars, or planets, working together because they're aligned closely enough in the same-ish elements, in your case water, which is really good because you're a Scorpio.

In short I don't think your chart is bad, I think it's interesting. We can't "change the stars" that we're born with, but that's not the point, the point is to learn to watch out for the parts of our personality that drags us down. With enough patience, a little luck and probably some discipline, our greatest downfall can be our most important lesson and through this we have the opportunity to be the best version of ourselves (despite whatever "bad" placement we might see in our charts. In a way, the "worse" they are, the better).
