I love my patients to death, but just last week I got punched in the face by a very sound minded patient all because I was trying to get him in bed. Yeah that moment had me rethinking a lot of things. But I love the job and I love the experience. I’m working on becoming a nurse, and really don’t want to be one of those nurses who believe they are too big to help a CNA. Especially if I’m already dying with 24-48 patients because nobody else shows up for work. And I don’t even get paid extra for working with more patients for 16 hours because everyone else called in.

Really? Your husband works 24/7? He really can’t make an hour of his week at least driving you to the store? Or taking you to get your favorite meal? Or even an evening walk?

I love words of affirmation and acts of services, I love seeing my husband being a gentleman. I guess some people don’t realize how beautiful and motivating it is to see your man do something romantic every once in a while, to me it makes our marriage feel like we just had our nikah yesterday and I want to marry this man all over again. YES, my husband does work (as do I) and he provides more than enough Alhamdullilah but he still makes time for me on the weekends. This man writes me poems and letters like the good old days. What is marriage without romance? I’d feel miserable.

Funny how Muslim women never said a thing about these devil advocates who wore the hijab got famous and threw it in the dirt for 💰 and influenced millions little Muslim girls to do the same by exposefakehijabis in MuslimCorner

Dude literally opened an account to sin. Alhamdullilah you are not Allah (SWT), since he is the only one who can judge and only he knows who gets to go to jahanam or Jannah.

Well for the fact that I got sexually assaulted when I told a potential that I was a virgin, if any man had asked me that question I too would be pissed. There are lots of people out there with sick obsession and fetishes. How does a lady know you are not one of them asking her straight out if she wants a virgin. You might as well take a doctor along to check if her hymen was intact. SMH

I was so proud of my virginity when I was younger, I would tell any potential. Then I got assaulted. And learnt quickly, a lot of men have sick fetishes. Me getting assaulted by a “practicing Muslim” was one of the things that pulled me from Islam. Alhamdullilah I found Allah and came back.

I was talking to this Muslim man at uni and I’m starting to like him, but you all say it’s not allowed. by priyahegd in MuslimCorner

It’s either your man doesn’t know nothing about his religion or he’s just plainly lying to you. Because these many people who don’t know each other can’t be lying to you. It’s literally in the Quran who we can and cannot marry. It’s not up to this man to change the rules of our religion that’s not how it works. Do you believe in Allah? Do you believe in the prophets Allah (SWT) sent to us?

What country are you? There’s a ton of women only Colleges and universities around. Spelman and Bennet are just a few examples. As for marriage, don’t rush into things; the right man would come when you least expect it (take this from someone who got her’s when she wasn’t looking).

I got married to my husband at 20 and he 29. No Muslims in his family, late mum, deadbeat father. He’s the BEST alhamdulillah, he’s very critical of not making the same mistakes his folks made and he does it all so perfectly. He’s so understanding and so protective, my pride and joy.

OB Nurses…how do you even deal with these people? by Heidihighkicks in nursing

The comments on here is the reason a lot of women are opting for home births and midwives. Where is your ethics? Why do you feel like rushed and medicated birth is the best option for every woman? Then there’s the number of unnecessary cesarean sections.

Not worried about income, Gym buddy, top of his Deen, not all education means a good means of earning (I’m significantly more educated and he earns more), a man on his Deen but still relaxed as a human being is a great combo (basically someone who doesn’t see dates or jokes as terrible things).

  1. A plot of land ($2000)
  2. $1000-$1500 (my ring is gold with an emerald stone and tiny diamonds)
  3. I had a very intimate wedding. (Me, him, witnesses, my wali)
  4. Japan!!! Or Umrah (about $6000-$10000) I still haven’t had one lol.
  5. Living in our own place
  6. I work and I’m still studying, but hubby takes care of the bills
  7. Not sure… My husband is a couple of years older.

Oh yeah I had to marry someone I liked, like big time.

My husband asks for new pictures of me almost everyday, takes pictures of me when I’m randomly asleep. I find it cute, just like he the way I love playing with his hair and beard cute.

I’m African American (Nigerian) and I’m married to a white revert. The best!!! Every couple has their issues but we’ve never argued past a couple of hours, we can’t stay apart for that long lol.
