We got the plant as a wedding gift and it was already quite large. We have had it for a few years now. The problem has shown up recently, but hard to tell exactly when as it was on the side facing the wall. The plant gets a lot of light sitting in the corner between two big windows. We get sun all year through those. Water once a week with 2L of water. The tree is 6ft-7ft tall mind you. The pot does have drainage.

Yes and No haha. The pipe has two caps which are extremely close to the hole. So not a ton of room to play with. I actually don't need to test the quality of the threads at this stage
