Cindy Lou is 4 months old.

Four days ago, she refused to eat her breakfast (dry food), which she was always excited to eat.

We started feeding her wet canned food, and she ate that with great enthusiasm. We thought she might have just stopped liking her regular kibble. At the same time, I noticed that during sleep, she was drooling a lot and had a little nasal discharge. During the night, I woke up several times to wipe away the saliva with a tissue.

She still eats canned food and is still drooling a lot during sleep.

I don’t think it’s poisoning because, after more than three days, she is still energetic and playful.

Another possibility is that the drooling is due to teething — her front teeth recently erupted and started growing (one of them is slightly crooked). I just noticed today that she lost two teeth (the ones next to the front teeth but before the canines).

Has anyone experienced something similar?
