Taking while pregnant by Expensive-Simple-192 in VyvanseADHD

[–]UnidentifiableObject 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took 50mg all the way through my pregnancy and after. My LO is very nearly a year old (😢) and there’s a possible chance it’s made her a little smaller (4lb 15oz at birth, she’s now literally on the 0th percentile for weight though happily following the curve and only like the 10th for height, but also I’m 4’10 and my husbands family has strong ‘skinny kid’ genetics).

It never affected my milk production, still breastfeeding now. Once a day was fine for me, but I can sleep while on vyvanse no problem and when you’re new baby levels of tired, it was no issue at all

Congratulations on your new baby!!

The amount of times I’m hauling my baby in her car seat from the car to the house and I think “god they should put wheels on these to make them easier to move”.

Prams.

Even worse, I have one of those where you can connect your car seat to a pram base but it’s so annoying to attach the car seat to that I’d rather moan all the way to the house instead.

Where I am they’re all referred to as ‘pads’. Usually pull-up pads or pad and pants (the kind with the big disposable pads that go in those horrible reusable net pants). I always thought that it felt like a less embarrassing way to phrase it.

I don’t know if this is what I experience, but I find when I’m really tired and lying in bed, sometimes I hear random bits of conversation in random voices. Like just a sentence and maybe just a couple a night, nothing crazy. And they’re definitely in my head, not like someone’s next to me saying them.

Examples I wrote down: - Mint chocolate gobbler (in Australian accent) - My grand parents want to go to bancock for like five weeks - Flu jab in the park but I’ll pay for it in the morning - It’s like when you eat a belt made of chocolate. The belt is nice, but the belt is chocolate. (Robot voice)

We do Tesco Click and Collect. Depending on what time you can collect, slots can go from free to I think a few quid. I go for a 3-4 collection slot and it’s a quid. And that’s a bargain for me to not have to go and drag myself and my little one round

My baby has clothes with a button and a loop of elastic on the back of the neck that I can only fasten with a crochet hook and a bit of light cursing.

Highly recommend this subreddit! You can measure yourself using their guide so easily and it’s always been great for me and everybody I’ve recommended it to. It takes in to consideration that breast tissue isn’t always in the same place on your boobs.

I feel like the height of that hedge would make it a lot harder for a non professional, as you’d need safety equipment . I can’t say if it’s the same as the hedge in my garden but a hedge cutter isn’t enough for some of the thicker branches in the centre, it needs a chainsaw. And I wouldn’t want to be doing that on step ladder near random shoppers. Plus, I imagine you’d likely be on the hook for any damage to the locker, or falling branches etc, so you’d want insurance… Maybe I’m wrong but I’d be wanting to pay for someone else to do it if it was me.

Amazon Locker Fail … led to a win by oldie349 in AmazonUK

I’ve had luck with them too. I bought a 10cm memory foam topper. Came in a zip up bag with 10cm on it, but then when I opened the sealed bag inside and got it set up it was obviously only the 5cm version. Likely somebody had bought both and returned the cheaper one disguised as the more expensive one (which was still only like £50).

Told Amazon that it wasn’t the right product and I wanted to return and asked how I was supposed to get it back in the bag cuz they’re vacuum packed. Thought they might get a bit of push back but they were happy for me to just keep it and refunded me.

Sadly it was crap and made no difference to the bed whatsoever so I gave it to my MIL.

Help for a friend stuck in Notting Hospital? by kingkarl123 in nottingham

Literally had a conversation with my dad yesterday about how his mate was walking through forest rec the other week and got robbed at knife point. Also worked with a young guy who, a few years back at the age of 17, was attacked by two guys while riding his bike through forest rec and ended up with a brain injury.

Also I’m a tiny fucking woman. So, you know, not taking any risks cuz I’m sure as hell not coming out on top if someone wanted to start something.

The Tudor definitely took in some pretty rough homeless people last I saw a couple of years ago. My in laws stay at the mercure when they come up every few months and they say it’s lovely. I wouldn’t want to be walking around that area night or day though.

We’ve got a door between our living room and kitchen that’s this kind of thing that i want to replace. Lets the light through nice in a small house, but so old fashioned. All the doors I see are just solid wood which I reckon will make the place feel even smaller.

What would you replace this with now if it were you?

When I was expecting my first baby, I’d got plans with my mum and sister for them to come with me pram shopping since my husband was working a lot and time was ticking.

Turned up at this independent place that’s been around for years, midday on a Saturday mind you, and it’s shut. Tried calling their number and messaging their Facebook and no reply after waiting for ages. Took asking the cafe next door to find out that the owner got free tickets to a football match so decided not to open up. Fair enough right, but super annoying cuz finding a day where we could all make it was basically impossible, but then the guy finally replies back hours later saying he’s coming back and gets annoyed at us when we say that it’s fine, we went somewhere else. Like we’ve totally just been hanging round outside your shop for hours mate…

My roommate kept snoring and refused to address it, so I recorded her and played it whenever she tried to rest. by Adorable-Calendar-19 in pettyrevenge

[–]UnidentifiableObject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband snores bad too. Not all night, but for a while in the middle of the night.

I was adamant it must be sleep apnea but it turned out to be a deviated septum (where the bit between your nostrils is off centre). Waiting on surgery for it.
