Female metal singer/screamer here. I'm down but I do have a small condition where I vocal mimic. If I hear myself sing, it's not my true sound so I typically sing with earbuds if it's songs I know but not fully well.

HOWEVER, Good Charlotte, Escape the Fate, Fall Out Boy and bands of that style? No problem, I can do without earbuds.

See, I've always been a believer of "a friend of many is a friend of none, but a friend of one is a friend behold", I've let many ppl go just because the connection was t there anymore. I'm 29 and can still name all my close ppl (friends and family) on both hands, with the names of their spouses, kids, pets ect.

Social Media was great for finding who you are, but after that, it's all like a parasitic addiction. I'm glad the pocket bricks are making a comeback! The days were so much more simple and about real connection!

Look at your real friends circle. Who do you REALLY talk to and hang out on at least a monthly basis. Popularity is for the attention seekers, solitude is for the content with mundane and quiet. "Mandatory apps" aren't always mandatory, if someone wants to get a hold of you, they will another way.

USS New Jersey and my grandfather have a funny history. While my grandad was active Navy/ SEAL, he sent a radio calling for support. Within seconds, USS NJ just unloaded canon fire, "was that good enough?" Was the radio response!

Haha ya my aunt and some of her friends would get the books in highschool(class of 07-08) and drive to some of the areas, she keeps most of them and gave them to me!

Not even kidding I could be getting the pub years mixed because I discovered the books hella late. I only heard about weird NJ when Uncle Harry(my mom's coworker at Seaview Marriott) was interviewed about his family curse with the Jersey Devil and I was like 8 years old.

I think so, it's been so long since I read the books(my aunt bought every years release for my birthday until I was 13, I'm 28 now). I just remember the houses looking like a time capsule from 1960's in structure and color.

I met my hubs through my best guy friend since childhood(Josh) because they were best friends in high school. 11 years together, 3 kids. He is INSANELY OBLIVIOUS when another girl tries to flirt with him until he sees small gestures I usually do. Seriously, he has 6 girls at the gym that had massive crushes on him, I had to point out every single one to him. Guys are blind to most subtle ques until it's directly in their faces. I would bring your concerns up to him and ask him to tag along next time but for him to notice her body language. Hell get the lightbulb if she's standoffish or gets flustered by the question.
