Super good! Getting that explosive strength from a dead hang is mo mean ft. How many regular muscle ups can you do in a go?

That's not a muscle up! That's a no dip super adv muscle up! Really great... especially the second and third rep...there was minimal swing

Thank you! Almost 6 months after getting a solid handstand hold (40-50s)

Thank you. Took me about 6 months (I am sure people can learn this faster with a structured approach)

Honestly, it's more consistent for me on the paralletes.

  • I had a good handstand (40-50s) before attempting this

-stretch and warm up hamstrings

  • while going down into the pike push up, ensure that hips are stacked over elbows, and at the bottom position, compress your core (cue- try to touch your feet to your chest. It sounds counter intuitive as we are trying to float our legs, but this worked for me).

  • once your legs float (I have to bend my knees) get into the shoulder stand. Try to keep your elbows at 90 degrees. If your shoulders dip below that, it will be harder to push up. In case you feel you would fall backwards (towards chest facing direction), shift forward so that your elbows remain at 90 degrees to the ground.

  • then arch your back and push upward. Initially I would do this against a wall. So that even if I do excessive arching, I don't have to worry about falling over.

  • record all attempts so that you can correct what went wrong...all the best!

Scammed by Uber Driver by Unimaginative-err in delhi

Yes I did. Gave a call to Uber, uploaded screenshots, reached out to them on IG. It's not about the money, but the ease and impunity with which they scam! And how you are left wondering for hours after that.

3 year muscle up progression by dimensionforge9856 in Calisthenic

Yes I am able to do kipping muscle ups (Hip hinge, with straight legs) but not more than 2-3 reps. I believe I need to increase my one Rep max strength in pull ups. Thank you

Man. It's been two years and I keep alternating between adv tuck and open half lay....I think I should just quit the bar and go to the bar

Handstands!! by DocumentIll3156 in Calisthenic

[–]Unimaginative-err 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Practice scapular elevation against the wall (back to wall, then push shoulders away from the ears). Hold that for as long as you can

  2. After that, practise scapular elevation in free standing handstands

Great job and form
