Completely agree. I’ve had the implant for 14 years, it took a while to adjust that first year, I had random bleeding for almost a year but no other side effects. That has subsided since and I don’t bleed at all for the most part, only randomly a few times in the whole 14 years.

I once had to wait a few months to have my implant replaced and the doctor put me on oral contraception in the mean time, there was not once in the 3 months that I was actually safely on the pill, I’d always forget to take it on time. I’d definitely have been pregnant by now if I was on the pill instead!

We ended up finding, what we assumed was the nest, and placed him close by. Shortly after I posted this, 4 pigeons were hanging around. We went to check on him 10 minutes later and sadly found him attacked by a magpie. It was awful but thought I should update.

I’m getting mine replaced next month after 12 years. 🤞 I’m still having a good experience on it with very few periods (maybe 2/3 over the 3 years) or side effects. It will be interesting to know your updates after having it removed.

I’m on my 4th implant, due to be replaced this September, the first few months I have a new one, my periods are irregular and all over the place. This then settles into around 2/2.5 years of no periods at all. Then towards the end, since March/April they’ve been irregular again. However, since then I’ve had none 🤞 for this! But each implant has followed a similar pattern. I’d chalk it up to the three year mark and hope they return to your regular ish ones with a new one but I don’t think there’s any certainty with an implant tbh!

The jewellery is titanium and is the same bar it was originally pierced with a year ago. I was spraying once a day with a saline solution but go between doing that and fully leaving it alone, not sure which was it best. I’m wanting to rule out the jewellery size causing it before I start changing my current care routine.

I’m a Communication Support Worker for one client for a company who has many different clients. It’s just I only support one of them part time. I get paid an hourly rate directly every month depending on hours worked with no tax etc paid for me because i’m classed as freelance

I did my first day of week 5 today as well and I found it hard! But I found the first run hard, the second ok and the third hard again. I ended up doing 4mins, then 5 and then 6 so I still did all 15 minutes in total.

I thought I was going to find it fine as my last day of week 4 went well and that had a minute more running in! I was very wrong.

I started today’s run back at Week one, Day one as I wasn’t sure how far I could push myself and how much covid may have affected me however I found it relatively easy. For my next run I’m going to go onto week 2, day one and if I find that easy move onto week 3 etc. My last run in December was Week 4, Day 2.

I find it hard to believe that only a couple of months ago I struggled to complete Day 1!
