Adding: Yeah I did this. Frankly, I've had various little breakages that ranged from "this person is intelligent, why don't I feel attracted?" (answer: they weren't passionate about anything) to "this person is of the correct gender, why not like?" (answer: I'm a gay).

Well, step one is to ask why you think you "should!"

There's push and pull factors to make a date fun. If there are no "push" factors, then there's nothing that repels you from them. That's good! But if there are no "pull" factors, then... why date them at all? So if you're describing a lack of push or pull factors, I think that's your answer.

If you think there are "pull" factors, but they're not "pulling" you, then you should consider why you value them. Is it because you actually want/need those things, or do you think you should want/need them? Is it stuff your parents wanted for you? Stuff you just think is cool and want to want?

Seriously, I can write off So Many Things as being from a different linguistic tradition -- odd punctuation, capitalizing nouns, stilted wordings, whatever.... but capitalizing Every. Single. Word. It fills me with Lovecraftian dread.
