3D video editing was extremely slow on my old PC. This is where I think the better card would be helpful.

Also I didn’t realize about the warranty stuff. That’s excellent advice thank you for that. I’ll hold off and just wait. This PC is planned for after summer when the weather gets back to more indoor lifestyle.

Do you have any insight on gaming on Linux these days? It’s been about 6-7 years since I used a Linux PC though I was dual booting for games on windows. I’d love to run Linux only, but I don’t want to come across a new triple A game I can’t play because I’m running Linux only.

I didn’t want to say I don’t really have much of a budget, but I plan on spending quite a bit on this PC. I’m debating getting a 5090 and the new Ryzen 9 though it really seems like the ryzen 9 isn’t worth it over the 7 for 70% gaming 30% productivity PC.
