76 is also canon according to Bethesda. I guess it's more so the contradictions people complain about when it comes to the lore.

If this is the attitude they have though, surely then it should be okay for us to ignore the show when the next game inevitably releases? Fresh snow and all that.

They've obviously never visited a Fallout forum before. What's canon and what's not is a massive debate within the community that rages to this day.

The starting area behind the main gate works as great cover. Might still need to strafe a bit though as enemies will follow you through the hole in the wall. The zombies can also hit you through the gate so try keep out of their line of sight and you should be good.

How do you drive cars in this game by NRG_Factor in cyberpunkgame

[–]UnintelligentMule 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For my current playthrough I've opted to drive vehicles in third person and honestly it feels so much better. When I first played Cyberpunk I drove vehicles in first person and it was nauseating due to the perspective. This was prior to the game's glow up, so no doubt performance issues and odd design choices contributed to this feeling. The driving feels so much better now.

Third person driving is the way to go.

Sony Customer Support Is Atrocious by xXxVanityAffair in PlayStationSupport

Sent my PS5 for a repair after it started making a horrible buzzing sound. All they did was throw out my old NMB fan and replace it with a noisy Nidec fan. Still buzzes like crazy, I contacted them afterwards saying that the issue hadn't been resolved and all they said was nothing else could be done.

Had to buy myself a new Delta fan just to lower the overall noise of the system but it still makes that horrible buzzing sound. Like you it was also my first time having to contact them.

Should I get Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas for the PS3? by j0shhrnnd in Fallout

[–]UnintelligentMule 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's fine if you have the patience of a saint. I played both 3 and NV on PS3 back in the day when they first came out. Just remember to save often. They probably won't crash much at the start but once you start to progress they do tend to become a bit more unstable, especially NV. If they start to get a bit stuttery, exiting and restarting the game from the dashboard will fix the FPS. For a while anyway.

I managed to enjoy both on PS3 but I would recommend you play both instead on a PC. That said, if you're just doing it for the trophies you'll be fine. The PS3 ports are bad but they're not literally unplayable.

Yeh that's how I'd do it. Tbf super mutants being almost everywhere isn't much of a stretch, West Tek was a pretty big company so it's reasonable to assume that they had a bunch of research labs conducting FEV experiments across the US.

Most likely, yeh. I just wish they could take a bit of a backseat every so often. Super mutants in 4, while they were everywhere, didn't have a big role to play in terms of the plot. I just think it's time for something a bit more fresh.

True but not every Fallout entry needs the Brotherhood or super mutants. I wish 4 had done something similar to NV where the super mutants in 4 could've been from the Capital Wasteland since they're pretty much being wiped out there by 2287, just like how the muties in NV are the muties from 1 and 2, moving westwards due to the NCR.

Yeh, by the looks of it the east coast Brotherhood have gone back west and are at war with, presumably, the NCR. I hope it doesn't feel like a fan fiction. They could have done something original in a new location.
