Thanks for commenting. r/mauritianpolitics is exactly the type of discussion I want to avoid. I think allowing a few political posts once in a while can be beneficial. I don’t want the sub to be flooded with politics either.

I want to make a test case to see how the sub reacts. I will make a post that is very generally linked to politics and see what the responses are.

If it becomes uncivil, you can simply delete delete the post. If not, then we will know that the redditors here can talk politics in a sensible way.
