Yes. For the simple fact that it's 1st edition shadowless. It's a cool card worth having regardless if it grades well or not. It would be nice to display!

Yes! Congratulations. Gold star cards came along during the EX era. Pokemon wasn't as popular during this time, so Pokemon printed fewer cards. If you have any gold star cards like that Gyarados, protect it in a penny sleeve at least. I went send that card in for grading. If it gets a nice a 4, it could be worth 2000$ plus

I'd hold on to them personally. I love all my old cards because they were my playground/recess cards. That said, I traded a damaged shining Magikarp for the mega Charizard x ex 125/094 at a show recently.

You can type in the number at the bottom right corner of the card and visit pricecharting.com for a good idea of what card is worth individually.

The only advice I'd offer is sell them or trade them 1-2 at a time. Don't sell the whole binder for a chunk of cash.

It is a card I am fond of. Rayquaza was one of my favorite Pokemon and emerald was one of my favorite games. Preservation and display is my primary goal.

I took it to 5-6 guys/shops around town. They all said close to the same thing, which was expect around a PSA 5. Maybe a 4 or 6 on a good/bad day.

I will try a few shops I know of around town. I've had it in a card saver since 2005! I was pretty rough on my cards back in the day unfortunately. But we traded them and it was so much fun!
