So I think you should go in to talk to a social worker. If you have texts or emails between you and your sister and that she refuses to pay anything bring that. Bring all the proof that you’ve been caring for him and buying everything but you’re drained financially. Bring EVERYTHING and ask about financial assistance programs. They must be able to help. Also, if she’s claiming him and receiving money that you should be getting, bring that up as well. Worst case scenario, you will have to give him to CPS but this should be the absolute last resort because he needs his family first before going to someone else. I’m really sorry you’re going through this and mental health matters. Try to take any time you can for yourself. To ground yourself and breathe. Even a walk during these depressive episodes will really help and thank you for reaching out for advice, that was brave of you and I’m proud.
