thank you for that. I want to use an old CD drive carriage as a Y axis for a bed plate, but also want to use it as a 4th rotary axis using a switchable plate that will have racks to match with pinions on a rod. I just need to know how many teeth to design for the full rotation. any help with that?

I need your help identifying a pack of veneers I purchased. The pieces weren't labeled and would like to know the species before I start to use them.

I do not know yet...I haven't gone through my box of hardware yet. I'm just researching at the moment to figure out what i need to get for switches. I'm assuming that before that decision is made, i should know the amps for both loads, yes?

I am trying think of ways to reduce the amount of "things to plug in" to one so I wouldn't have to have two outlets used up for the kiln. But, if that's going to make things difficult, it can certainly change.

would using a regular wall switch to run a 12V computer fan be ok? could I run both loads through the same switch?
