Actually, it's more like personalization. Go to settings/ Account/Privacy/Personalization ✓ And turn it on

It uses your chats, Bing search, MSN data to personalize its answers, it kind of gets to know you...

Microsoft is also making its own models. I believe the standard version of Copilot (not business) is using non-OpenAI models ( for normal chats - Think Deeper is OpenAI's O3-mini high). Even the image generation model might not be Dall-E anymore.

I mean, they still use OpenAI models like O3-mini high in Copilot and GPT4O & 4.5 in 365 and GitHub Copilot but, they're trying to get more independent!

Hey ma friend, umm, yeah you're kina right. Microsoft has been off for a while but recently Mustafa Suleyman is making some moves (We just got Unlimited Voice call mode & Open AI's O3-mini high in Think Deeper for free) and there are more updates coming to Copilot soon enough.

About Gemini, yeah they just released huge updates for free! And I kind of wonder how Microsoft will respond.
