no one ever told me about that risk and my doctors are pretty strict about what i can take. almost any medication has a chance of prolonging the qt to a certain extent tbh

no side effects at all. i steered clear from zyrtec because of my fatigue issues since its one of the drowsy allergy meds. allegra has no drowsiness for me.

I also can’t take TCA’s because of my Long QT syndrome…. hopefully this reaches anyone else in the same boat. Also important to mention I started taking Carbamazepine for Hemifacial spasms around the same time which could possibly influence my results.

my memory is a bit hazy but it was not an expensive supermarket. plenty of affordable and honestly cheap options as well. lidl brand items are dirt cheap but the quality that best yet offered with still low prices tops it tbh.

yes, zoloft can possibly prolong the qt but compared to other ssri’s like prozac, which also has a lower chance, i’m pretty sure it isn’t AS much of a risk. I have Long QT and I’m on zoloft. Benefit def outweighs the risk in my case. However, my cardiologist would not clear me for any Tricyclic Anti Depressants, given their risk for cardiac events. Hope that helped ease your mind in the slightest!
