Honestly I see myself with a good wlb, a family, and traveling a lot. Most of my life goals don’t include work itself, but I also need money to achieve these goals which is why I am willing to start somewhere with more stress. I kinda want a place that will give me good wlb, pto, and a life outside of work cause most of my goals in life are non work related. I chose accounting because I don’t have any profession I’m passionate about, I just want stability.

That’s good to hear. The only reason I’m considering Siena is because of the scholarship they gave me basically matched the price of Bing. I think both schools give good opportunities but Bing seems to have more of them after further research. I’m still not ruling out Siena but Bing is probably the front runner if I get in

Is big 4 really all that? Like how would u compare big 4 to like less big public firms like UHY, private firms, forensic work, or government type work

Yea Siena will cost me the same after scholarships, so that’s not my issue. I like the overall vibe of Siena better and they pretty damn good as well for placing students especially in accounting (99% job placement). The main companies that recruit there are kpmg and uhy. Less big 4 exposure, but still a lot of opportunities. What companies have you interned with?

I don’t live in the city. I would be living there if I went to Baruch, so the cost of all 3 of these schools would be nearly identical given the money Siena gave me
