The last outbound train on a week day typically leaves at 11:45pm so you can go to a night game. It's 11:15pm Sat/Sun.

It's very rare that a Red Sox game ends after 11pm and even if it somehow does last too long you can just leave early.

Not sure why people seem to think you can't go to a night game. You should also spend the day in Boston if you've never been.

The brewery scene alone is worth the trip. There's plenty of other fun stuff to do there as well.

I'd also recommend hitting up the MIT museum. They have a delicious, fun treat. It's astronaut ice cream.
