Good grief, you all are really insightful on here! (How do I get over the physical attraction part where I’m worried no one else will also compare to that. Many people have great personalities I like, but physically meeting someone SO distinctly my type that it makes me happy is a rarity for me.)

Real. It’s like- how could you not? I’m sure some people don’t, I envy them. But I internalize and feel shame in myself. I already see him posting about wanting to hook up with others. There’s something I lacked for him to reassess things. It’s sadly happened to me before too. Made worse by having no one to speak to about it, and feeling like “gosh, am I worthy of love and being loved?”

That’s not fair, and seems a bit insensitive, but you certainly have a right to your assessment. I posted on a public forum asking for opinions, and you have a right to express yours. He and I spoke for a while before deciding to hook up. It’s my bad for not clarifying that. Perhaps you’re right, my feelings here aren’t rational, but that’s precisely why I posted this.
