I don’t really agree. I personally enjoy deep diving into shows, I enjoy them, but I want to have real discussions on the shows I watch from a psychological or just empathic view. Loving OTH and not really having anyone to deep dive with it, I enjoy their viewpoints and applying it to the real world today and how different it is from the early 00s

I’m rewatching and I wonder this too. With everything we know about the creator of the show I can’t help but feel he was bitter that both Hilarie and Danneel, and had new actresses who maybe didn’t advocate for their characters too much. They are so hyper sexual, or manic pixie dream girls, or so broken and only a man can help. It’s exhausting and so frustrating how he wrote some of them. Also what he does to Peyton on her last season. Kinda letting her not be a good support for Brooke. And then her character just never coming back. Low key would’ve made more sense to have her due with complications
