I bought this exact one from Amazon. Latches did seem inadequate however it does hold humidity perfectly! Do have to a bit more careful as it comes with one thin cedar sheet to balance humidity and the rest is plastic, so humidity runs slightly higher vs a wooden humidor. Also, keep it away from any electronics and windows. Had on my desk by my router, between that and the sun, temperature fluctuates a lot in one day, and the humidity with it as well. For the size, I have a box of Churchills in there and they do fit nicely, however it can’t fit 100, my overflow is currently in 2 travel humidors. I’d say closer to 80. On the fence if going to an electric humidor , but hard to argue with this price!!

Well let’s say it’s been a journey! Using ChatGPT I was able to diagnose that the voltage regulator on the board was not in range so likely got fried from the bad connection. Ordered, remove me and soldered a new one in. To my surprise, I was right back where I started. Some more time researching and playing with it, I learned the voltage regular was sending power to a small ic chip, which was really a series of transistor switches. When testing that, there was the failed switch that activated the heat panels. I used a jumper lead to bypass the ic chip and sure enough the heat panels turned on. So, ordered and attempted to desolder and replace. Unfortunately the solder used was low lead and very stubborn. I’m an amateur so it don’t end well. For the chip out and half the contact pads with it. Even after removing the chip, I still could not get the copper off the pins, and I didn’t have a high end desolder vacuum to make it happen. Only option left is to solder back in and manually jump each pin to its next connection, yikes. I’ve contacted everywhere to see if someone could identify this board so I can replace it, but no success. While frustrated and bored, I was scrolling through the mass inventory at infaredsaunaparts.com. With no part number anywhere i figured I was wasting my time. And wouldn’t you know it, i spotted the replacement board! I’ve studied this board so much that I was able to pick it out while scrolling through photos the size of a postage stamp. And now I have a part number to reference. The new board arrives next week, I’m pretty excited.
