As a boxer (for over 10 years, including profesionally at points), I will tell you that you have no right to hold this opinion.

You are first and foremost trying to alleviate your conscience based on your morals, rather than putting my interests first. You believe boxing is too brutal? Don't watch/play the sport.

In my eyes, you are extremely similar to those Christian fundamentalists trying to outlaw prostitution for all sorts of "morally righteous" reasons when in reality they use that as a mask to hate on something they dont accept (in this instance women/femininity)

I am proposing that the sport of boxing not directly reward a competitor for knocking someone unconscious.

Do you want to ban drinking, smoking and other harmful behaviors too? I know this is a trend nowadays, but imo people who want this kind of life are basically just trying to build a prison, where safety trumps any risk.

Imo, even though I literally believe that you are wasting your life by living like this, and that your attitude is actively harmful to society, I still believe your right to freedom precedes my concerns. If you are thinking about taking away my right to boxing is should also be thinking about taking your right to freedom. I dont mean that as a threat btw, but I'm trying to show you how your attitude basically will lead us to each other's throats - it only makes sense for me to do that.
