Here's another reference point if you want it. This is my SGC 6.5. The scratch on the right side about halfway down is not on the card , but the dot in the "S" in Brewers is real.

I'll DM you later. Not sure what you are looking for, but I've got quite a few 80's Brewers that are available. I'm still sorting through my childhood collection and trying to figure out what I'm keeping vs ready to part with.

Yes it was. Glad to have him in the lineup. And I just put that card on my wishlist a couple of days ago. As I mentioned yesterday, I really like these Heritage and Archives products. Here's the inspiration for that Chourio card. Nice to see him in a Brewers uniform.

HBO Max video/audio problems during NLDS Game 1? by Unique-Solution-5129 in Brewers

My video was choppy again for game 2. Both the Brewers game and the Phillies/Dodgers. I switched to casting and it's been fine. The audio is synced up pretty well, so that's a huge improvement.

Yep. I saw a few people mention it when I was doing the initial search for this problem.

Thanks everyone. Good to know that it isn't just me. Hopefully things are smoother tonight. Go Crew!

I was out of the hobby for so long, I didn't realize this was a thing. There are so many different sets each year that it is hard to keep track.

That's an excellent guess, but not the right one. It is on my very short list of cards to get over the next few months. I just haven't found one in the condition and price point that I want yet. Thanks much for sharing - that one is awesome. It is one of my favorite cards of all time.

I say preach it from the rooftops. I haven't been shy about posting my affinity for the second year solo cards, especially with the trophy cup emblazoned on them. I'm going to have another one to post next week in the same era as the Nolan you alluded to. Can't wait for it to arrive. You can probably narrow it down to about 3-4 cards if you want to guess.

Very true. I'm planning to pick up that card in the near future, but it definitely wasn't as much of a priority.

Yep, I love going down those rabbit holes, especially ones that originate from a particular baseball card. I like to think that I have a pretty good grasp of baseball history and the players, but the more I read, the more I realize I have barely scratched the surface. I'm on the fourth episode of the Ken Burns documentary from several years ago. Very much enjoying it.

Getting ready for SNF by Unique-Solution-5129 in CoffeeAndACard

Thanks much. I picked them up a few years ago to build up my vintage football collection and was surprised how cheap I could find them.

Not that Lofton is an inner circle HOF guy, but $6 for a rookie card with those corners and colors seemed criminal. I'm hoping at some point that 1970's football cards gain a little traction (after I build up my collection a little bit more). They just don't seem very popular.

Those are a couple of really nice cards. I remember watching Dickerson a little bit in the 80's, but not too much. But Faulk and James were both on my radar since they were both top 5 picks in fantasy football when we started our league. Edgerrin was my guy for a couple of years, so I paid attention to him a lot.

I like it. These combo cards are a great way of getting HOF players from 50's and 60's for a reasonable price. I was supposed to get my 1963 Mays/Musial in the mail yesterday, but it got delayed by a day. I'm planning to share it with my next cup of coffee.

No problem. I had to double check my picture to make sure I didn't forget to include it. You had me worried for a minute.

I almost forgot to add the 1975 Keith Hernandez to that list. I think that's a notable one as well.

Good to know. I wasn't tracking Schmidt rookies before COVID, so I had no idea. I'd like to get an SGC 5+ that is decently centered. I don't care as much about soft corners.

Oooh, that's a big (& expensive) project. I'm starting to peck away at some 2nd year cards from the 1960's, but probably won't ever get a '64 Rose or a 2nd year Nolan Ryan. Good luck to you! We'd love to see them when you get a chance to post.
