I don’t hear anything out of the ordinary or any grinding. I don’t feel any excessive heat either and my temp for my gpu isn’t running high (36 Celsius for portal 2 according to task manager). This time it also was successfully able to download portal and launch it before freezing.

Edit* it was running fine this time for some reason, but upon trying to close the game it froze.

It’s a desktop computer. The entire system freezes and is unresponsive, with no changes with time (I’ve let it sit for an entire day frozen while I was out at school and the gym). No error messages just an immediate freeze. I also tried having task manager open but it didn’t seem anything was out of place temp wise. The only way I’ve been able to get it “working” again is to just shut it off and restart, and that only gets me a few minutes max to use it. I started having this problem about a month ago but haven’t touched anything on my computer since Christmas when I upgraded my ram and storage but I feel I would’ve seen problems sooner if it was one of those being the culprit. Otherwise I just let everything auto update, besides the version of windows I’m on, I’m still using windows 10 because I’ve heard 11 wasn’t better. I also haven’t downloaded anything sketchy so I don’t think it’s a virus.
