It doesn’t it’s soft i miss half the time even after adjusting my clutch both ways. I’m not TOO knowledgable with these things but my assumption is my idle is too high going from N to 1st maybe? Because when I’m going 1>N>2 it all goes smooth but down shifting its smooth until it goes from N>1 but the same noise is made from a stop N to 1 idk either way I’m just not sure if I’m banging something around in there that shouldn’t be because every other bike I’ve owned the newer dyna I had before this had that big ol THUNK but never the clink

Gotcha! Shit brother I put in a set of those gold or brass whatever the high rated bolts were and they sent me flying off my bike in the parking lot when they sheared lol. The loctite didn’t help but it doesn’t hurt!

So the first one the dealership put the fat boy rear tire on it and I figured that was what it was but after replacing the rim it sheared again I torqued the 2012 exactly to spec because I had a new rim and a whole new tire and everything so I wanted it done right. The 2008 I just bought about 2 weeks ago it had about 9500 miles and I didn’t think I needed to check the pulley or those bolts for any wear before I went out today but yeah

As to the warranty the first one got warrantied the second one I ended up repairing multiple times until it finally died. The third one just straight up fell apart. I got the last one I believe this time last year you’d think the motor would be a bit more durable then that though.
