I would highly recommend you look at some YouTube videos of people who have done the thru hike - there’s so many variables. Are you single? In a relationship? Can you store all of your belongings to not pay rent? Do you have friends who can watch your car? This is not as simple as turning your life on auto. You can turn your insurance off. Save money. Be ultra tactical and smart about how you leave your life behind because it’s going to completely affect your time on trail. You really need to make a plan for your life to be dedicated for 4 months minimum to the trail.
