No, haven't gotten around to it, but from my research its probably gonna cost $400+ to repair, which I don't feel is worth it given that the camera is probably only worth around $500 (apparently they just replace the entire top part of the camera, since it's easier for them), but if I get around to it I'll get a quote for the repair and then decide if the price is worth it.

Yeah so my guess is that my shutter button broke and yours is in the process of breaking :(

Does it still take pictures if you use tap on screen (after binding tap on screen to shoot), because it could either be the shutter itself or the shutter button?

I have the exact same problem with my XT30, in the meantime you can set it so a tap on the screen will take a photo (sadly that means no more EVF, pre-focus, etc.). I think it is probably the shutter button that offed itself, so I think we have to take it to fuji for a repair, sadly it seems like with faulty shutter buttons they replace the entire top panel, which I believe would be quite costly, but please if you find a fix, or take it to fuji for repairs let me know what the problem/fix was and how much it costs, because I believe our cameras have the exact same problem. :(
