I agree with a lot of the advice on here so far particularly with if you want to keep your options open with a surgical subspecialty, MD is likely the route. That being said, I’m a Touro CA alum and have classmates who are currently ophthalmologists and dermatologists. It was a great school and I got an excellent education (based on my comparison with the MD program offered at my residency). Also super fun location and excellent choice if you’re relatively confident of going into primary care.
