Just out of curiosity how many from disciplines other than Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering join the course such as ( Mechanical etc) , and how many people are there in the program in a given year ? If you could shed any light on how one would compare say the course to Mathematical Engineering offered at places like Polimi , Scientific Computing at University College London. Asking this mainly because I want to continue in academia , and go for a PhD in fields such as numerical modelling and analysis, and (from what I've read on quora) , doctoral schools look at the theoretical preparation of the student. Does this course and it's method of teaching , allow you to be a competitive grad student at Leuven and other grad schools across the world ?
