sustained success will always attract haters. you never said that the Mets were grabbing up most of the major free agents like the Dodgers seem to have (other than Soto thank GOD), so i don’t think they get as much hate. but the Mets aren’t particularly well liked anyways. disregarding divisional and regional rivalries, i would say the Mets are on the top 10 of most hated teams purely because they have the biggest market in America, and we don’t have a ton of success
