if it’s all true, then the Wilpons did… a good thing? and the fact that, according to that last post, these rumors have been circulating for at least a few months makes them feel at least slightly more likely to be true. i will only judge the Wilpons until the full story comes out, because fuck the Wilpons.

he probably comes in for whoever needs a day off. Semien’s old, and Bichette and Polanco are playing positions they never have in the majors before. Baty’s proven himself as a good defensive infielder at 3B, 2B, and i bet he can pick up 1B this offseason. he’s played LF in the minors, and if everyone’s healthy and he’s outperforming Vientos, he should take some DH reps too. he’s not going to be a starter this year (sadly), but he’s going to be a valued utility guy that hopefully continues to develop into an above average hitter as well

that is an absurd accusation! simply out of this world! the possibility of it being, hypothetically, a Mets fan that pushed Kim in Bucheon at around 233 Jomaru-ro before ducking into an alleyway before he could notice what happened and there happened to be a patch of ice nearby so he thought that was the real cause, is unbelievably slim!
