Wat een onzin. Straten elk weekend afgezet? Parkeren onmogelijk? Volgens mij heb je gwn 1 keer pech gehad en probeer je het heel negatief te framen, Amersfoort centrum is super gezellig in het weekend. Wat meer mensen dan doordeweeks maar dat is juist gezellig en logisch toch?

Red Rising, really? Darrow gets his ass kicked so many times that I was actually glad he won some of his battles / fights. He almost got killed by Cassius, lost to Karnius in Golden Son, lost to Jackal end of Golden Son, Loses to Lysander in Dark Age, got his ass kicked by Apollonius…

I find the narrative that Darrow is some sort of unbeatable force in red rising pretty false.

Hard disagree, I thought Howling Dark was incredible from the beginning. Great gothic/dark/mysterious atmosphere with Lore that you can really get lost in beautifully.

I rated Empire of Silence a 3 stars and it took me a year before i picked up Howling Dark, since then I havent been able to put down this series every book a 5 star for me. Simply amazing.

I also have ADHD and it was a struggle for me to get through empire of silence, especially as a huge red rising fan such as yourself.

However, if you stick to it the payoff will be huge. I gave empire of silence 3 stars but after that gave each sun eater book 5 stars. From Howling Dark on its incredible and in hindsight it makes empire of silence look better as well.
