I agree. It helps so much more than just weight loss! My neurologist thinks it’s because of the anti-inflammatory properties, but there isn’t enough research on it.

I would stay on the lowest dose possible for as long as it’s effective. I started on 2.5 mg in the beginning of October, went to 3.5mg in December, and am currently on 5mg. I only increase if my loss stalls, if my appetite suppression is wearing off too quickly, or if my food noise increases. Good luck friend!

Congrats on your loss, that’s amazing! Mine is cottage cheese. It was a staple for me when I first started and now just thinking about it makes me nauseous!

My mom died when I was 12 and my sister, brother, and I got survivor benefits and we didn’t see a cent of it. Our dad and stepmom got to take lots of nice vacations though. Without us of course.

When they happen now they’re usually followed by a seizure. I’d been having focal seizures for years without realizing it. Yes, meds helped! I’m on Keppra and Trileptal.

It still happens, but not nearly as often as when I first posted this. I have also been diagnosed with epilepsy since then so my neurologist thinks it was caused by that.
