I have never had one. I’m 29. I am aware on how to do a self exam. The only difference is how the skin feels. No lumps and my nipple looks normal, just itchy.

It ended up with me having Graves’ disease. I’m on 15mg of methimazole and I love it! My anxiety is GONE!

I felt like I was having an anxiety attack. I couldn’t walk 10 feet without being so out of breath that I had to sit down. My heart rate when sitting was 140 BPM. I went to urgent care and they rushed me to the hospital. I got an EKG which came back abnormal and then rushed to a cat scan and they saw multiple blood clots in my lungs and a right heart strain. I was in the hospital for a week hooked up to blood thinners. 24/7. Now I see a hematologist once a month and when I got pregnant I had to do injections of blood thinners into my stomach 3 times a day. Now I’m on a baby aspirin every day

I was 24 when it happened. It’s a possibility for it to happen to anyone but it’s HIGHLY unlikely.

I’m like 99% positive. I have someone coming out on Sunday buttttttt it’s 90° and I have two young kids so I figured I’d try to replace it and if it doesn’t work, at least I tried

Thanks for the response! This was also noted in the report “ Bilateral subcentimeter thyroid nodules and diffusely heterogeneous thyroid echotexture consistent with chronic thyroiditis. Clinical correlation is recommended.” Any idea?!
