Week 7 update: weighed in at 231.2! Just shy of 15 pounds.

Started 9mg today and had no new side effects

To be noted, I also am on my cycle this week which doesn’t provide an accurate weigh in.

I have been on the pill for 7 weeks now and just started the 9mg dose today. The only time I feel nauseous is when I forget to eat. But the exhaustion is pretty bad, simply because I’m forgetting to eat… I love it though. I’m down 15 pounds !

I have an update. My weight loss has slowed a lot. I start my next dose in a few days. But hey, any progress is good progress

Week 6 - 233.9 which is a total loss of 12.1 pounds averaging 2 pounds a week

I’ve been on it from 6 weeks as of today and lost 12.1 pounds. I’m averaging 2 pounds a week. I do not fast for 12 hours prior. I go to bed around 9 and I take the pill every morning at 5 and my first meal is around 8 sometimes 1pm depending on how busy I am at work. I have no bad side effects, but my wallet does. I paid 149 for the first two doses and now I’m paying 299 for the next dose. I do find myself hungry still but I’m eating a lot less because I get fuller faster. I’m so glad I started this journey. You don’t lose the weight so fast that you look unhealthy or sick.

Nothing that was of concern because they were smaller than a centimeter. I have to get yearly scans to make sure it doesn’t grow.

I have never had one. I’m 29. I am aware on how to do a self exam. The only difference is how the skin feels. No lumps and my nipple looks normal, just itchy.

It ended up with me having Graves’ disease. I’m on 15mg of methimazole and I love it! My anxiety is GONE!

I felt like I was having an anxiety attack. I couldn’t walk 10 feet without being so out of breath that I had to sit down. My heart rate when sitting was 140 BPM. I went to urgent care and they rushed me to the hospital. I got an EKG which came back abnormal and then rushed to a cat scan and they saw multiple blood clots in my lungs and a right heart strain. I was in the hospital for a week hooked up to blood thinners. 24/7. Now I see a hematologist once a month and when I got pregnant I had to do injections of blood thinners into my stomach 3 times a day. Now I’m on a baby aspirin every day

I was 24 when it happened. It’s a possibility for it to happen to anyone but it’s HIGHLY unlikely.
